Active Ingredients
- Sodium Chloride 2.6 g/sachet
- Potassium Chloride 1.5 g/sachet
- Sodium Citrate 2.9 g/sachet
- Anhydrous Glucose 13.5 g/sachet
Indications
Dehydration due to acute diarrhoea
Dehydration from vomiting
Fluid loss from excessive sweating (heat, fever)
Rehydration during and after cholera treatment
Electrolyte replacement in infants, children, and adults
Dosage & Administration
Dissolve entire contents of one sachet in 200 ml (one cup) of clean, cooled, boiled water. Adults and children over 10 years: 200–400 ml after each loose stool. Infants and children under 10: give frequently by spoon or cup under medical supervision. Use freshly prepared solution within 24 hours.
Warnings & Precautions
- Do not use if sachet is torn or damaged
- Always dissolve in the correct volume of water
- Seek medical advice if symptoms persist beyond 24 hours
- Not a treatment for the underlying cause of diarrhoea
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C. Keep sachets away from moisture. Discard any unused reconstituted solution after 24 hours.
